This was a great week.
First off, R got baptized!! He's got a very strong testimony, and he will be a very firm member. He has a 2 year old son, and it was a tender mercy that the little boy's mother happened to bring him for the week, and asked R to take care of him. That way his son was able to come to his baptism. His family doesn't support him very much, but gratefully a lot of people from our ward came to his baptism.
We also had zone conference! There were supposed to be blockades, but they only lasted a day or two, so our President and his wife made it to Sucre fine. Because of all this we were a little short on proselyting time this week, but we worked crazy hard, and managed to make it to all of our appointments and then some.
We also found some great new families, one of which came to church. Well, a few of the members of the family, anyway.
Last night we went to visit one of these families, and we got to the door, we found their 17 year old son who was just getting home. His mother told us that he often will leave without saying anything and go to drink with his friends. We began to talk to him and rather than finding a very rebellious teenager, as I expected, we found a very sad young man who wants to change. We had avery spiritual lesson, and I have a lot of hope that he will change.
I love you guys!!

This was a good week. We had some great, very spiritual lessons, and we worked hard.
On Wednesday I was in another area doing intercambios with a different Hermana, and we went to go visit an investigator who was very timid, and lived alone with her mother. Hermana Kaeding told me that she used to have problems with worshipping idols, but had put them all away and since then had made a lot of improvement. She also told me that her Bishop had told them not to invite her to baptism yet, because he thought she was a little mentally unstable or something. However, from the moment we started the lesson, the Spirit was so strong. I could feel so clearly that the Lord loved her very much, and that she to needs to be baptized in order to live with her Heavenly Father again. Hermana Kaeding and I followed the Spirit, and we put a baptismal date, which she accepted and is now preparing for. I had never met her before, but I felt such a profound love, and I know that it was the right thing to invite her to make this covenant!
I know this is the Lord's work, and that He is no respecter of persons. He loves each and every one of us despite our different circumstances!
I love you all very much and am praying for you!

This week they're were dancing in the street because the University was having an event, so I tried to take some quick photos :)

Hey!
This was a hectic, but very good week. We had leadership council this Thursday, so we got to fly to Cochabamba. It was very spiritual and I am very grateful for a very inspired Mission President. I learned a lot.
We also got to go to the Temple and then stayed the night in our President's home. It was great, and I think I took the best shower I've had in all of my mission haha.
Things are going really well in our area. We have lots of people that are progressing well, but some of them still need to stay the full 3 hours of Church before they can get baptized. I think many of them will be able to reach to their baptismal dates in these next few weeks.
We also had a very cool experience during a lesson with one of our investigators who only speaks Quechua. We couldn't find someone who could translate for us, but we went anyway and we taught her in Spanish with a few parts in Quechua here and there. The amazing part was that we could understand her! And she could understand us too! Or, at least it seemed like she was getting it haha. It wasn't like we knew every word, but whenever she said or asked something, it was like we just automatically understood. And I know it was the Spirit, because when we finished the lesson I once again could only understand bits and pieces.
I know that this is God's work, and once again I can testify that He will not forget about us and that He will help us accomplish what we need to do!
I love you all very much, and have a good week!

This week was awesome!! My companion and I are teaching a ton and we have seen a lot of success this week. The Lord truly has put extremely prepared people in our path, and I'm very excited to see their progression.
There are lots of little things that have happened that make me laugh. For example, there are lots of little kids that lie and say that their parents aren't home, but if we say that we just saw their parents enter the house, they just get quiet for a second, and then go call their parents haha.
We are also teaching this 80 year old cholita who comes to Church every week with her daughter and is ready to be baptized. However, when we put a baptismal date for July, she wouldn't accept it. Turns out she has a family party in August and wants to be able to drink and sin one more time before her baptism haha. It's kind of sad, but also kind of funny coming from a little old grandma.
The only downside  was that we were without water for almost a week. We finally ended up asking our neighbor to let us draw water from his well so that we could bathe and wash our clothes. When we finally got our water back, I think I had the best shower of my life haha. I also got sick, but nothing too bad, more of just a cold. We worked like normal.
Overall, I love Sucre. We work so hard, the people are so good, and I love being here.
Thank you for all your love and support, and I hope you have a great week. Love you all!!

Oh, and I don't know if I said this, but I got the packet right before I got to Sucre. Thank you!!!
